Designed for the family traveling. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels and front suspension as well as a multi-position reclining seat accommodate children up to 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents with a large storage basket as well as 3-tier canopy that has a the ability to peek through the window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud earned one of the lowest scores on our tests of quality due to its thin feel with hard plastic seats, and a design that is dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter, so it's not the best option in the event you're looking for an economical option.
It's not the lightest stroller but it has enough features to make it worth considering. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to navigate on flat surfaces and it can jump curbs with minimal effort unlike other light strollers that diverge when trying to do the same thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a drawback but it's at knee height, and not adjustable. It's not easy to push when your legs hang in that way. And the absence of padding makes it even more difficult.
In our tests, we discovered the Cloud to be easy to open and set up. It's a little more difficult to close, however; you have to slide a slider and then press a large white button for it to collapse. This can be frustrating particularly if you're trying to keep track of kids at the same time.
The Cloud comes with a compact, but deep storage basket. It's big enough to fit the size of a large diaper bag. The basket is a bit narrow, and you may need to put something in it to reach the back. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and children with two cup holders each however they're both too narrow to accommodate larger bottles or cups.
Kolcraft is a family-owned business that has been operating since 1946. They started by manufacturing crib pads and diapers however, they now manufacture various baby products, including highchairs and infant car seats. The company is located in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist style that's ideal for travel. It's super light at just 18 lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) and folds flat for easy transport and storage. It also comes with independently reclined seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors that have a peekaboo window. The visors can be adjusted to fit kids of various heights. It also has one-step linked parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheel of the Jeep is also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller doesn't accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and have a strong neck control in order to ride on the front seat. The stroller does have an umbrella sun canopy with three panels and each seat has its own cupholder and snack tray.
Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is yet another extremely light stroller that can be used side by side. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's smaller and thinner (26.5 inches wide!) It's got a lot of elegant details that make it ideal for travel. It folds up easily, very maneuverable, and fits easily in overhead compartments and the trunks of planes.
Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key differences. It's a bit more expensive, but it offers a more shady sun canopy and better maneuverability. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can accommodate kids up to 44 lbs per seat.
Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a lightweight stroller packed with features. It's not just light at 13 lbs and offers plenty of storage space in the form of child and parent cup holders, a sippy cup for children pocket as well as a parent storage compartment and much more. This stroller can also be used with a child's car seat and comes with a brake with a flip-flop feature that is easy to engage. This stroller is designed to expand along with your child. It can be transformed from a baby stroller into a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged six months and over.
